I purchased the short chestnut brown Ugg boots on-line after trying them on at the ugg store. I couldn’t get the color/size at the ugg store but at least I was able to verfy the size before ordering. The price was the same. The 10.00 shipping charge I saved in gas not having to go back to the Wrentham outlets. The boots are extremely comfortable and warm and they are perfect for the endless hours I spend at hockey rinks.

Let me start by saying Chicago winters are no joke, but the UGGs stood up to the challenge. After being cheap and purchasing boots in the style of UGGs, I finally decided to break down and purchase the real thing for winter. I eventually purchased the classic short uggs (size
in black. I wore them when it was about 2 degrees outside and my feet were so warm and comfy. I subsequently purchased another pair in chesnut. These boots do run big. I wear a 8.5 normally so I got a size 8 which fits perfectly. If for instance you wear a 8.5 normally and decide you want to wear thick socks with them, I would purchase the 8.5 to allow sock room. Waterproof the boots with a waterproofing spray (especially if you’re wearing them in the snow)and you’re all set. Great purchase!

I bought these shoes in a light pink in the summer and I haven’t taken them off since. They are versitile, comfortable, warm and ideal for walking long distances and shopping.
Just before buying them I’d been wearing strappy sandles and heals for 10-14 hours/day. After showing up for a peddicure with scabs and scars all over my poor feet, my nail lady told me to try some Uggs. So I did. My feet have healed, they are well insulated and stay moisturized because of the thick lining.
The uggs are so comfortable, infact, that they have inspired me to walk to work–1.5miles each way. How many shoes can you say that about? There is no break-in period, and they feel like you are wearing nice slippers in public.
I don’t worry about walking on ice in them because there isn’t a heel to twist an ankle on, and there is plenty of traction. Better than docs for the bad weather, actually, because the soles don’t freeze and they keep your feet PLENTY warm.
There are only three drawbacks: the suede–I didn’t treat it quick enough and now the water marks show from walking in the snow; and the casualness of them. As soon as I find uggs in something that works with a suit I’m set for life! In the meantime, I wear them to walk to work, change shoes in my office, and then switch back into them if I know I’m not going to meetings for a while. The third is the height, while I like the shorter boot for under jeans, it isn’t something that would look OK with anything else, and certainly looks goofy by itself.
These shoes are in my main closet with the rest of the shoes I will never part with–my docs and birks. They belong in that elite shoe category of classic, comfortable and well made. I can’t wait to get another pair.

I recently bought a pair of Short Ugg boots to wear for winter warmth and style. They are amazing! The best way to wear them is WITHOUT socks so you can feel the warmth. These boots are available in about every imaginable color. You can roll the tops down on the tall or short Uggs, so you can see the fur. I didn’t buy the protective spray for these boots, and it doesn’t really matter anyway. As long as you don’t go out in a torrential downpour, you won’t get bad water marks. As you know, Uggs are the hottest style and are also a very cute style for the upcoming spring season! Well worth the money!!!!!

i love my uggs. i wear them with mini skirts, jeans and sweatpants all the time. im in college and they are the best to walk around campus in. i recently ordered the “tall” pair so i can tuck my jeans into them and wear them with skirts as well. because they are suede, they will get discolored if they get wet, but uggs are meant to be worn in, and they dont look bad if they get a little beat up. great buy!

This is the second pair of Uggs I purchased in the last two years! My daughter wore them almost everyday right up until the spring. These boots look good with both pants and skirts and come in a number of colors. It is worth it to waterproof them if you intend to wear them on rainy or slushy days. Spots can be easily removed with a little white vinager and cold water!

I tried on many a knock-off at the discount store, but the real UGG boot is worth the price you pay for it. (this coming from a woman who doesn’t pay full-price for ANYTHING if she can get away with it) My teenage daughter informed me that they run big-thank goodness- and they do- a full size big! She also informed me that you DO NOT wear socks with them- “Like EVER!” She was right again as they regulate both heat and cold with the sheepskin lining inside. They are cozy, comfortable, and from a woman who wears an orthotic in her sneakers, they felt good on the bottom of my feet as well. I wouldn’t stand in them ALL DAY, but I can wear them for 3 to 4 ours without my orthotic and my feet feel great. I LOVE THEM. I can see myself wearing them year round because I never want to take them off. And NO, your feet DO NOT sweat in them at all!!

Ordered a size 7, meant to order 6, they returned the shoes no problem and sent out the adjusted size in a timely matter. Good service. Would buy from them again.

Prompt shipment. Nicely Packaged. Warm boot just as I expected. However, they are not WATERPROOF. So please do not wear them in the rain. It’s also very warm so it might be too much for 65 degree weather. It will come in handy for winter. Love it!

My husband thinks they are UGGly but I am laughing all the way to the podiatrist. They are so warm and low enough that I won’t twist my ankles. My feet are so warm. Love them! Worth every penny.
